(IMS) is revising the expiration date for its Atropine Sulfate Injection, USP, 0.1mg/mL, 10mL with NDC# 0548-1039-00, 0548-2039-00, and 0548-3339-00 and Atropine Sulfate Injection, USP, 0.1mg/mL, 5mL with NDC# 0548-3338-00. The shelf life is being revised from 36 months to 18 months, which is 18 months earlier than the printed expiration date on the unit carton. The change of expiration date is necessary due to the product's potential failure to maintain potency beyond 18 months after the manufacturing date. This is a precautionary measure, and the risk of any potential health hazard is low. This notification is being made with the knowledge of the food and Drug Administration. Should you decide to return the products that you have, please return the affected products to AllMed, ATTN: RECALL. We will fully reimburse you for any returns of the Atropine lots listed above. |
