“The Cocoon” is an effective pre-hospital “Hypothermic Device” that allows treatment of cardiac arrest and spinal cord injuries by inducing hypothermia.

Simply adding ice or cold packs to the inside of the Cocoon will help induce hypothermia in the patient.

The Mylar lining of the Cocoon will retain the cold and effectively lower the patient’s core temperature.
