WATER-JEL® Fire Blankets are soaked in a water based, water-soluble gel to relieve pain, cool the burn, and protect against airborne contamination. The Fire Blankets consist of a 100% worsted wool carrier and are bacteriostatic. In addition to being a one-step burn care product, they can also be used to put out small fires, extinguish flames on a victim, and protect a rescuer from heat and flame. The blankets can be placed directly over clothing, and the gel is easily removed with sterile saline. Packaged in carry cannisters.
