One of the strongest open-sided ascenders available. Machined from solid aircraft aluminum with 4140 chromemoly steel cam with a new non-metallic finish that has the same corrosion resistance as stainless steel and is harder than knife blades and files. The unit will accommodate ropes from 1/4” (6mm) to 5/8” (16mm) in diameter. Special safety gate design is superior to other open-sided ascenders. Attach to carabiners, ascender slings or combination. Set includes one right and one left hand unit.
